The Hideaway exceeded all expectations. The location is excellent, situated in a quiet road in a really pleasant suburban area which is no more than a 5-10 minute walk from the town centre. It's away from the hustle bustle of the town but still within reach of all the restaurants, such as The Lamplighter. The hotel facilities are top-notch, with spacious and comfortable rooms that have all the home comforts you need, including a smart TV with Netflix, iron and ironing board, and drinking water in the bathroom. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The free on-site parking was also a bonus. And of course, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide range of choices and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed.

We were pleasantly surprised by the ample parking available, and the location near the town center made it convenient for us to explore the area. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, and the breakfast was outstanding.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast choices were extensive and delicious, especially the full English breakfast. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the Lake District, with easy access to nearby restaurants and a short walk to the lake. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a luxurious spiral staircase. this hotel exceeded all my expectations and I can't wait to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The best aspects were the amazing quality and quantity of breakfast, the warm and comfy building, and the spotlessly clean rooms. The hotel is conveniently located away from the hustle bustle of the town, but still just a short walk to all the restaurants and shops. We also appreciated the private parking and the proximity to Windermere train station. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
